Limited (“BFSL”), which offer financial services such as Secured & Unsecured loans, Deposits, Wallet
product, third party Wealth Management products such as Insurance & Mutual funds, Stock broking service
etc. (“Financial Services”). If you are below 18 years of age, you are expected to view our Digital property
under the guidance of a natural parent/legal guardian.
The reference made to (i) ‘BFL’ in this Policy would mean and include to both BHFL and BFSL;
(ii) the term ‘Group’ would mean and include Group companies, namely Bajaj General Insurance Ltd., Bajaj
Life Insurance Ltd., Bajaj Finserv Direct Limited, Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Company Ltd., Bajaj
Finserv Health Ltd. and (ii) the term Digital Property would mean and include website, mobile application
and/or any other electronic application.
This Privacy Policy explains about the type of information of the User that BFL collects, consent, its purpose,
salient features etc. as detailed below. We encourage User to read this Privacy Policy regarding the
collection, use, and disclosure of information by User from time to time to keep itself updated with the
changes & updated that we make to this Policy.

If User accesses BFL Mobile Application available on the Google and Apple Play Store, BFL may require certain device permissions to provide the User certain functionalities within the Bajaj Finserv application in accordance with prevailing law/regulation. This further allows the User a seamless experience on Bajaj Finserv platform.

In all contractual arrangements, BFL ensures compliance with appropriate standards from third party agencies/service providers, with obligations to protect any information and apply appropriate measures regarding its use and transfer. Any acts involving unauthorized usage and sharing of information, breach of security procedures, usage of information for unlawful gain, or breach of confidentiality BFL warrants penalty as per master agreement which may or may not lead to legal proceedings.

We may employ third-party service providers and individuals due to the following reasons (not exhaustive):
User is hereby informed that the third-party service provider/agent/agencies will have access to your Information on a need-to-know basis to assist BFL in rendering service and are restricted from using the same for any other reason rather than specified during data collection. The third-party service provider is obligated not to disclose or use the Information for any other purpose.
As part of our commitment to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency, BFL may deploy technology-enabled systems, including AI-based facial recognition devices and camera-enabled identification mechanisms, at its branches and authorized dealer stores.
By visiting such branches or authorized dealer stores, the User acknowledges and consents to the capture and limited processing of Users facial images for the purposes such as identity verification, service facilitation, and real-time matching with BFL’s internal customer database. This data may be shared with authorized dealers solely for the purpose of delivering services and improving customer interactions.
Customers can raise a request to erase app data via: Menu > Help & Support > New Request > Others > Delete Bajaj Finserv App Account
Customers can raise a request to erase their personal data available with Bajaj Finance Limited via: Service > Your Account > Manage Account and Data > Right to erase > Erase your data.
Any request for erasure of complete personal data will be evaluated by Bajaj Finance Limited to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory retention guidelines as well as internal policies. If the customer is eligible for erasure, all their personal data shall be purged from Bajaj Finance Limited’s ecosystem.
The User is requested to review the following scenarios which may warrant a rejection of the data erasure request:

Also, Bajaj Finance Limited reserves the right to reject a data erasure request if there are legal cases ongoing against the User/customer.

Customer can access information about their personal data stored within Bajaj Finance Limited via: Service > View Profile.
User acknowledges the following:
BFL shall retain/store User’s Information in India if it is required to provide services or as long as it is required for business purpose. Retention of Information will be as per applicable law/regulatory requirements in India.

Information may be retained for an extended period (i) in case of requirement of any investigations under law or as part of any requirement before Courts/Tribunals/Forums/Commissions etc. and (ii) to enhance / improve the products / services of BFL.
BFL ensures that access to User data is sufficiently restricted using access controls and industry standard encryption algorithms. Further, BFL has in place a robust incident management system along with a proactive incident response posture. If retaining Customer Information is no longer necessary, we make every effort to securely destroy or delete it in accordance with NIST 800-88 standards.
In the event of a data breach, BFL is committed to promptly notifying affected individuals and other authorities as may be required under Law/regulation via email or other direct communication methods.
BFL’s website / electronic / mobile application may contain links to other sites. If User clicks on a third-party link, User may be directed to that site. It may be noted that such external sites are not operated by BFL and are beyond the control of BFL. Therefore, BFL strongly advises the Users to review the privacy terms / policy of such external websites / electronic applications. BFL has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
BFL may amend/update the Privacy Policy from time to time as required under law. Thus, User is advised to review this page periodically for any changes, since any such changes will be effective immediately after they are updated / posted on this page.
